It was my original intent to leave the Kickstarts! writing workshop up on the blog indefinitely. Since I began posting, I have noticed that quite a number of people have been enjoying it. I hope you are one of them and that you shared it with all of your friends so they could get a boost to their writing lives as well.
After some thought, I have decided to see if I can reach a larger audience by adding the workshop to another website. Unfortunately, one of that website's rules is that the content can not be available for free on another platform. That poses problems for my keeping the posts here. So, I have come up with a sort of a compromise. I will be removing the workshop from the blog and re-posting it to Channillo.com where it will have the opportunity to reach members who pay a reasonably low monthly fee to read as much as they can in as many genres as they want - I hear that music is also now on Channillo's offerings as well. (No, this is not an add for the website. It is just a bit of information for you to consider.)
I will also be working on getting Kickstarts! into a handy book that will (eventually) be available in both print and e-book formats.
My hope with this change of plans is that more people who might be looking for a bit of help with a skill that they are not necessarily fond of, a nudge to start off on their writing adventure, or a little help knocking down a roadblock keeping them from their writing passion will have the opportunity to take advantage of the writing exercises.
The goal is to have all of the workshop posts removed for relocation this week. Until then, feel free to revisit them to your hearts content!
I also hope to post a new workshop for your enjoyment later this year, so keep a lookout!
Best wishes on your writing journey!
Happy June everyone! I hope yours brings you joy, laughter, and inspiration enough to keep your creative well overflowing with great new ideas! This month's newsletter has a few for you waiting inside. Enjoy!
