It all began with a dragon. Not just any dragon, and not for just any reason. Fiddlebug was born as a nightly bedtime story to give a sense of stability to my young children while their dad was overseas fixing things that others broke in a very dangerous place. Think what you will of where he was and why. The important thing was that me and our boys missed him terribly, worried about him incessantly, and needed something positive to end our day. I am an artist and a writer. These things are gifts that sing in my blood and demand to be heard. And so, a small dragon was born from a fairy sneeze out of a walnut shell. Over time, he grew and made friends. Some of those friends appeared in his stories. others needed tales of their own. Eventually, the words made it onto paper as did the pictures. Now, here we are more than a decade later looking at the future and what new stories it will hold. One day, there will be print books again and new friends and adventures to join those who have already appeared. For now, me and my books are living a quieter life away from the places where marketing trends dictate the worthiness of the bedtime stories we read to the younglings that we hold so dear. Budgets are tight. Time is short. We all need something positive to end our day. With that in mind, I am working on making some changes that will hopefully sit well with my readers and with my writing world. Bear with me. These changes take time and I am in short supply of that as well. The links below will take you to my store where you can purchase a PDF copy of my books. Some of those options will change in the future as I fine-tune my new plan. With some luck and hard work, I hope to add to this collection as well. My very best wishes to everyone who finds there way here! Brittney
